Title: 1n4001 vs. 1n4002
Post by: Samuel on January 19, 2004, 06:30:47 PM
Will the 4001 make a suitable replacement in most cases for a 4002? In particular I'm looking at Scott Swartz's Rodent over at GGG. Since Scott seems to use 4002s for circuit protection (I'm actually thinking about the PT-80 here), and since the only difference I can see from the spec sheet is a lower max voltage (50 vs. 100) from the 4001, it seems like it would still do the job. Am I wrong?
