The library of the local community college.  I think the book was called "Audio IC projects" or somethingorother.  Long out of print, I believe.  Made by Maplin.

I've searched through my college's library and found little as interesting, or rather specific, as this.

I don't attend this place full time, I just have access to the library, and it's pretty nice (the library, that is)
