Title: Trouble in Hendrix Fuzz Face Land!
Post by: Fret Wire on January 25, 2004, 11:39:00 PM
The top bid on this bogus pedal just went down from $5,700 to $4000. Maybe the top bidder reads this forum, or one of us bad boys emailed him! Who knows?

Looks like someone with too much negative or too little feedback must have bid on it, and he cancelled it.

Even if, and it's a big IF that Hendrix did indeed use this FF at one time there's absolutely NO guarantee that it's gonna sound anything like what it did when if it ever was in front of 3 Marshall stacks, I believe that Roger Mayer said that he used to buy 20 at a time and then he and Jimi would sift thru them to hopefully find a good one and the rest were used for parts etc, at that time 20 FF's cost £100 = £5 per pedal so there will be a considerable profit made on this one for sure.

The top bidder, until recently, had plenty of good feed-back with no negatives. He had already won some items over $4000. He pulled it for some reason?
