Title: About Pots
Post by: Davide on January 26, 2004, 05:13:10 PM
Only a little and simple question :P

I'm building the DOD 250.. i've seen that the volume pot has to be a Reverse Log Pot ...   I know what it means and how it works.. but why a Reverse Log ? :)  .. some problems using a normal Log pot ?

Thank you !

Check out R.G. 's article "The Secret Life of Pots" on www.geofex.com.

In short, if you can't get the reverse log, either use a linear pot (should work OK-ish) or use a log pot "backwards" (so that it turns up going counter-clockwise).
