Title: Where to get the boxes?

Hello, I'm new here...
I decided to make my own beginner-effect, just for fun and to learn a little bit. I think I'm going to buy all the things I need to build the Dance Electra Distortion tomorrow, but where do I get there metal-boxes? I don't know if there is already a thread about it, but I didn't find one. So, do these boxes have a special name? where can I get them? (in Germany)...

Ask for a hammond 1590 series box, there's lots of 'em from tiny (1590A) to huge flat ones for things like amps (1590DD). :)

Start with the 1590BB sized box. Maybe it will be a little bigger than what you want, but it's the perfect size for a beginner.

You can order the box from anyone that carries Hammond boxes. If you can't find any in Germany, write back and I will give you places you can order it in the US.
