I've noticed that Mojo Musical Supply is selling a new enclosure for stomp boxes. Unfortunately there's no picture on the website but it could be worth looking into. It's listed at $40 which is expensive but I'm assuming that a hand painted box wouldn't be cheap either.
Maybe you can email them for details. They usually respond quickly to inquiries.
I can do powder-coating, not sure if it would be what you're looking for though.
