Title: NPN Positive Ground Fuzz Circuit - Any Thoughts?
Post by: BlackFlag1313 on January 30, 2004, 11:21:38 PM
I've built PNP negative ground Fuzz circuits and experience the common problem of a motorboating noise at full levels.  I'm wondering if there's any similar problems doing the opposite - Converting a NPN si fuzz to positve ground.  I want to find a way to incorporate both a ge and si fuzz into the same enclosure.  Any thoughts?
Thanks

Of the problems excape me right now, but I remember the solution...I think it was a Neg gnd. PNP [I never understood] and it went round a number of times, with no fix...then converted to PNP Pos ground, and all's well that ends well...
I remeber no exact reason for it, or any cure for it other than to not ever use it, or experiment with it judiciously then get away from it before it starts to bother you...
I think there's a schematic around here for anyone interested...could be there's something else going on, or some fix...nothing's surfaced.

for combining PS with other whatever you have NPN or PNP...
