Whats with this "not wanting" crap ? Did I miss something again besides my parole hearing ? I always considered the level of negativity pretty low around here compared to other places. Don't leave or not participate just because maybe one or two schmos out of a 1000+ represent a sign of general discontent with you.
If can't get to a computer or you gotta work on biz thats cool but don't leave on that account.

Could you send me an impartial schematic of a 386 type ckt that will get me on the road toward what you're getting that you like?
So far it's Big Daddy w/AMZ tone control and a Smash Drive [which I cant' seem to find now], using RS 386's and NTE 823.

I hope you reconsider your idea of "retiring" from the forum. If you've gotten "negative communication" from some individuals, it's probably because they don't have the computing capacity to understand you. I doubt it would be from any of the regular contributors here. It certainly wouldn't have been from me!
I think you're a great example of what experience and tinkering can produce. You could probably snag an EE degree if it could be done by demonstrating some of your 386 "experiments" and some of those circuit snippets I've seen.
