Title: tonebender MKII question

i started building tonebender MKII from http://www.green-fuz.freeserve.co.uk/solamk2.html , but i can´t find OC81D or OC75, does anyone knows a good transistor to replace?  thanks  :D

You can successfully use quite a few types here. I've used mainly the Japanese 2SBs with great results. Try 2SB 32,33,54,173,175. Many other "not too leaky germaniums' will be just fine also.

You can use AC 128,AC 127 (NPN schematic/supply)too

Hi,

Maybe AC 128 and 127 are hard to find in brazil,try to find old Japanesse radios   in pawnshops
,even broken and have a look inside .It's where i find them or i buy  them at the Puces Market but they are expensive Oc 44 or 76,3or 5 $(i bought the last ones they had!!). Try Army surplus or in electronic shops ,if they have old stocks.
