Title: IC 4560?
Post by: lion on February 04, 2004, 10:16:44 AM
The Fender Acoustasonic circuit uses the TL072 and CA3080 - and a IC labeled 4560?
Anyone ever heard of a 4560 (dual opamp) IC?

Thanks RDV - I did a search in the Farnell catalog with no result.
Anything special about the RC4560 - subs.?

It just seems to be a wider frequency range version of a 4558. I believe you could use a 4558 in it's place at the risk of lowered frequency response. Any dual OA should work in it's place though if the pinout matches.

No worries with guitar because of it's narrow frequency band.
