I just picked up some of those, but with the solder-tabs instead of PCB leads.  First impression is, it's a bit of effort (tight) to swap in and out the battery, and you'll need a little space around it so you can grab it and pull it out.  Also, the mounting holes on the frame don't provide much clearance, it would be hard to have a machine screw and bolt sticking out there because then the battery wouldn't fit... I think it's designed for rivets or something... they DO look cool though!

I've used those - I rarely build pedals with battery clips, but if I do those things are great!

http://www.just-battery-links.com/aaa_battery_holder.html
has some good links, eg Bulgin.
I have a stack of 9v holders, which have chromed steel wires coming out that are impossible to solder to, I presume they were intended to be crimped by some machine

I couldn't find the 9v ones on that site.
