I searched Motorola's and a bunch of other sites and got nothing.

On my meter I plug it into the NPN slot and get 371 hFE.

Can I assume it's NPN General Purpose Amp?

Also, what's the color bands on the backs of some trannys? (red-purple-gold) Some have them and some don't.

I'm going through a TON of transistors that I have and sorting them into JFET, NPN, PNP, then into actual part #s in bins. It's to keep me from mixing them up and destroying pedals.  :x
