you could ahieve that with the electro harmonix slapback echo...also any boss/flanger circuit can be modded for 0% modulation depth...maybe with a bl3208 instead of the mn3207 they usually have
thanks maneco but wht i am trying to do is not have to resort to someone elses pedal but do something that only does this. and nothign else i have it dialed in on a patch that i can control via a midi controller for ultimate expression on the fly but i was trying to go diy and analog
then with a pt2399,using the datasheet diagram,calibrated for the milliseconds you need,and adding the mixing circuit you describe,it can be done,and is not anyone else pedal
:? What I believe if you want "vintage" sounding echo then add some lowpass filtering to feedback signal. I think more than you believe

exactly there rdv, it gives that cracked out sound there, but i found a nother use for it in conjunction with another custom pedal i had made. which i am trying to get redone too..
maneco.. i looked at the chip you were talkin about ... i thought about it originally but it has to have down to like 6ms the datasheet

states that the resistor that sets the delay, at .5 ohms will give you 31.3ms. i need 0-30 ms thanks though.
I believe there a brother/sister chip to the Princeton 2399 that uses an external clock. So cranking the clock up really fast might get you down to a few mS. Can't remember the number for that chip, but I kinda recall that Small Bear stocks it.
then you'll have to use a short bbd,maybe 512 stages like the mn3204,to achieve the shortest delay...bbd's need two phases clocks,but you can find all the info you need in Mark Hammer's site...
btw,the princeton chip you are mentioning is the pt2395...needs an external ram and an external comparator...it works,but i don´t remember the highest clock i drove it...
yeah i have a couple of bbd's i basically need the basics of a delay circuit i gesss i got a couple of the delays. i guess i will just mod them
