Title: OT(slightly): "winder" at Dick Smith (Australia)
Post by: Paul Perry (Frostwave) on February 13, 2004, 05:39:50 AM
A friend showed me a model aircraft with a battery powered prrop winder, with a mechanical counter in the wider! looks easy to mod to wind coils! at $10, you can give the plane away & keep the winder (all plastic, but not as crappy as you might think). He got it at Powerhouse in Bell St Preston (Melbourne).

Hey Paul!
Can you find out who manufactures that winder? I'd be interested in one to use for its intended purpose!

I didn't see any brand on it, it was just one of those things that come out of Asia in a container, but I'll see what I can do.
