Title: fulltone 3pdt
Post by: O'malley's Alley on February 18, 2004, 10:58:23 AM
I have a fulltone 3pdt, and because of the 3x3 rows of lugs, I cant tell how to wire it.  Anyone have a diagram of it or know how its supposed to be wired?

I always just hold the switch so that the flat side of the prongs are horizontal like

-- -- --     throw
-- -- --     pull
-- -- --     throw

Then you know the pulls are in the middle and the throws are at the bottom and top

Use your DMM to test for continuity ;)

Test continuity from the center pole to his North south west and east neighbours. Only one of the two pairs will have continuity in both states (on/off). Then you know the orientation of the other 2 poles as well.

Here is a link to General Guitar Gadgets. It shows a way to wire a 3PDT using a 9v battery.  Hope this helps!
