I've seen posts from several folks in Iowa, and I was just wondering how many of you are close to Des Moines? Maybe we could get together and compare notes on the different pedals we've built and swap some parts, and/or jam. Like a little pedal con or something.

Wow, I am really close to Sioux City, 25 miles away to be exact! What guitar store do you go to, Flood, Midbell, Creative or Larvick?
I used to live in Sewer City and would hang out at Flood's on an almost daily basis. I bought a MIM Strat from them back in 96. I also bought stuff from Creative. Got a great laney amp from them, as well as some effects. Of course, I don't have any of that stuff now. :D
I mainly go to Flood because I am a tube amp buff, and they are the only ones who at least have 2 in stock always.
I traded a 100 watt SS Randall head and a 4x12 Peavey cab for Fender Twin Reverb at Creative in 1998. That changed my playing permanently! Not to mention my tone. 8)
flood sucks creative is ok but over priced
Flood used to be the best, then they changed management. There used to be a short balding salesman there who was really cool, can't remember his name.
