Title: Can anyone help me with this?
Post by: Telecopter on February 19, 2004, 06:50:12 PM
Could any of you guys please take a look at this schematic, and tell me if anything is wrong here:
http://www.geocities.com/kitchitikipi/index.html
Basically, it's just an altered version the tonebender mkll over at green-fuz, making it a negative ground version for use with this power & switching schematic: http://www.green-fuz.freeserve.co.uk/wiring.html
Part of the reason I ask all of this, is that the fuzz I built from this worked OK for a while, but eventually the 1st transistor died - basically, I'm not sure if this is due to schematic problems or other issues. Anway, thanks for any help you can offer!

The link to the schematic doesn;t work, but my bet is that if it is a TB schem, it's ok...there' are numerous TB schematics and if one were 'wrong' I think it would be recognized very quickly...
U;ve built TB's from GGG  Runoff Groove and Fuzz central...compare your schematic to theirs...

Ok, I think I have it fixed:

Since it is altered to be negative ground, I wonder if everything is OK? I've never seen another neg ground version to compare it to..

Looks like it should be OK.
