Title: Hole Sizes
Post by: MarkB on February 20, 2004, 11:27:19 AM
I know I've seen it around here... can't seem to find it.

Is there a reference somewhere that has all the proper hole-sizes to drill for various switches/pots/jacks?

Particularly - I need the proper size for the blue 3pdt footswitch, but I'd like to have a reference for all of them.

Thanks!!

Mini toggles   1/4
Mini Alpha 16mm pots   9/32
Full size Alpha 24mm pots   5/16
Switchcraft Jacks   3/8
Stomp switch   15/32

Hope this helps,  Ed R.

Just measure the diameter of your stuff with a calliper, and drill slightly larger than that. ;)

Mark B,

Yes, I'm using blue 3PDT.

If you use a 1/2 unibit, the 2nd biggest step is 15/32.
I also forgot- the dc power jacks I use (Fulltone style)
are 1/2.
