Title: Silly caps question
Post by: Kaiowas on February 20, 2004, 08:47:43 PM
Do the 1uF non-polarized caps look like electrolytic ones   ?

I bought them and they seem just like electrolytics, but without the line that generally indicates the negative side of this kind of caps.

Thanks!

Yep.  The ones that I bought at the Shack did, at least.  Only difference was I didn't have to worry about which side went where.  :D

The non-polarized electrolytic ones do. ;) Inside the package are two regular electrolytic caps with either the + or the - leads connected together. For this reason, they are roughly twice the size of their polarized cousins.

Take care,
