Anyone built one of these? What do they sound like - are they any good?

How do I wire the output into a mono jack? here's the schem:http://www.fortunecity.com/tinpan/humperdinck/223/carlco.gif

Cheers,

If I'm reading the schematic correctly it is using a spdt switch as a bypass switch. When it is bypassed the signal still goes throught the first part of the circuit (the first transistor and associated components).

If you want to true bypass it using a dpdt switch ignore the switch in the schematic and run the bypass switch between the input and the wiper of the volume control.

If you want to leave the original switch in so you can switch between buffer and fuzz when the effect is selected, bypass between the input and the output of the spdt (marked "output" on the schematic).

If you're cool with non true bypass, wire as the schematic shows: output jack to the centre of the spdt, one outside lug to the wiper of the volume control, the other lug to the junction of the 47k, 470k and 150n just after the first transistor.
