How do I add clipping diodes to my pedals? Any suggestions for good diodes (Si or Ge) to use?

Your eiher put them in the feedback loop of your amp section, or you put them to ground (one towards ground one towards the signal path) after the amp section.
I like 1n4148s and 1n914's for clipping :D
