wow, low parts count.   How does it work?

I'm assuming it has somethign to do with the charing of the cap, as most timing circuits do, but i don't see any way this is possible...

aaahhhh wow that was an old post, almost forgot about it lol...

i kinda see it now, the transistor "on" voltage is used as the threshold...when the cap is charging, the NPN is on, and when discharging, it sets it off....I think....
