hi all
free samples are cool. i was just ordering a few at ONSEMI.com and it says i have to pay 20 bucks US postage. thats not free!!! im in australia, does that have something to do with it?
can someone clarify? or redirect me to one that DOES ship free?
cheers
Jim
Well, I would have to say, how many samples are you getting? Even if you placed an order with them and were paying $20 for parts PLUS $20 shipping, just paying shipping would be worth it.
Unless you can find free samples down under.
Anyone trying to get free IC samples in Australia might be in for a suprise, they usualy come HAND DELIVERED by a company rep
(don't ask me how I know this... but one of the reps keeps coming back every six months to see how my accelerometer based controler is coming along!)
hmmmm i hadnt ordered any in fact
i was looking at ordering some 2N5088s and the thing said 5 free and then added it up like this
subtotal: $0.00
shipping and handling: $20:00
total: $20.00
booooooo
cheers
Jim

ON doesn't ship free internationally. It only ships free to North America.
