Title: Phuncgnosis questions
Post by: Marek on March 01, 2004, 08:26:44 AM
Hi!

I have a few questions about "Phuncgnosis" (Tim Escobedo) and I'm hoping that somebody will be able to answer them:

1. Can the 1M pot on the AUX input be labeled 'sensitivity' ? I mean, is that what it does? Determines how strong a signal it takes to make wow wow?

2. Is there a way to add a simple Freq- Range switch or pot?

3. Will the circuit benefit from an output vol. pot -> output buffer combination? ( I have a BOSS - transistor style out buffer in mind)

4. Will an input buffer do any good? Or is it useless in this constellation?

5. Any other mods for this circuit?

Thanks!!

Marek

p.s. I'm still looking for a BOSS SYB-3  schematic. Anyone?

You can call it whatever you want. ;)

I suppose you could fiddle with the filter values or add a master tuning pot.  I personally didn't think it worth the effort with such a simple filter.

Won't hurt. Might not help much, either.

Input buffer is probably a good idea.
