OK, who else is in?

I say it's going to go for $850.

I think the price won't arrive $850 in four days. I say $600.

What do you want to know about it?I could look in mine. I paid $40 for it after it sat in a music store for about a year.

I'm hesitant to say more than 700, just because it's hardly been inflated thus far.

Hey charlie, did you know that your domain leads to one of those shitty holding/search pages? :(

Hey Rick, I'll tell you what... If you sell it to me I'll give you three times what you originally paid.

Ack! Thanks, Colin. I appreciate the heads-up. I'm making the necessary inquiries.

Deal! Of course there is the $1500 shipping and handling charge you'll have to cover...

Strangely that's about how I managed to get a Clyde McCoy wah for $60 three or four years ago. One of the salesmen in a local music store paid someone $20 for it and tripled his money by selling it to me the same day.

I won't tell you what I traded my nearly new Jax Univibe for though. You see I wanted a real chorus...

Back on topic, if the purpose of the Brassmaster pool is to get it so it can be traced, I think this has already been done and I believe RG has posted a schematic and layout for it. I seem to recall I checked it against mine and it was accurate (or maybe I'm thinking of the Funny Cat?). In any case I repeat my offer to look inside for part values etc.

OK, Rick. The check is in the mail.

Yeah, I've built a clone. Awesome bass fuzz! There was just some stuff about the filter switch not doing anything, but I think someone (Bill?) figured out a fix for that. It was a while ago...

The reason I started the pool was to see if anyone was interested in taking "bets" on how much that original on eBay would go for, just for fun. (I'm stickin' with $850, btw).  :)

  I entirely missed that. On rereading the post it is most obvious. Just for fun I'll raise you to $1000 if someone hasn't already picked that.

Didn't someone at some point seriously suggest pooling money to buy vintage effects off ebay so the circuits could be traced then reselling them? Or maybe I'm confusing that with the thread about buying large part orders as a group?
