there's a decent "special" magazine issue put out by one of the guitar mags.  the Marshall Amp its called.  Kind of neat to read, nothing technical by any means, but a cool broad and general history of, that includes 30 blurps on famous guitarists that use/used marshalls.

Its got a marshall dating by serial number section, I don't own one so I don't know how indepth it is, and its also got some old pictures and articles of/about some of the most popular marshalls (according to them of course) .

Some other stuff included as well.

I just thought that someone may get a kick out of reading it, if you haven't all seen it already that is.  I saw it at my local market, so I'm sure its everywhere by now.

Matt.

Hello fellow Orange Countian...I haven't seen the mag yet but I've been told it just ripped a bunch of stuff from the Doyle/Mangano book...if it didn't however that would be cool, it's always nice to see new pix and whatnot...thanks for the heads-up
cheers

Hmmm good to know.  I don't really keep up on literature of this kind so I am kind of clueless.  It was new to me and I thought I'd share.  Thanks for the info though, I think I may go and research that book as it seems it would be much more indepth and interesting.

By the way, how about this damn heat...  unusual.

Thanks from HB, Matt.

The Doyle book is excellent as far as all the cool pix, but there are a few historical errors...it's bound to happen I guess...definitely worth having if you're in to Marshalls

Yeah, very hot today but I'm not complainin'!

Here in Oxford, Ohio it was in the 60s last week, then today 29F and snowing  :( .   We had been out in shorts playing soccer and enjoying the wonderful weather last week, then it's time to bundle up again.  I don't want to hear about "it's so hot here."   :D

Right on Ammscray.  That must be cool, no need for me to know really.  Unless it's brian wilson and you're going to introduce me. lol

I was just curious who played what, etc.
