Doug (or anyone else who's done his mod):
Your wah schematic looks pretty good. I think it'll be going onto the ol' breadboard after I get a few other projects out of the way. I'd like to know the following:
Did you happen to try the mods in R.G.'s article that convert a Cry Baby-type wah to a Maestro Boomer 2 - type wah/volume? Do you think those mods would work on your circuit? Has anyone else implemented this successfully?
Also, there have been many posts about converting a twin-T filter to a wah or an auto-wah. One thing I haven't seen is a module to override the pedal and put a STANDARD wah into auto-wah land. Any ideas how this might be done?
Bump
Doug?
Please?
The wah mods I did came directly from R.G.'s wah article. It was just my personal tweak that I happened to like.
Doug
I tried Doug's mods and they are cool.
I also referenced R.G.'s excellent article and tried a number of other things.
hmmm. I need to try that wah again, I can't remember that it sounds like now.
Doug / Aron:
Thanks for the wah feedback!
Has anybody tried the volume pedal conversion thing? I'm looking to build a wah/volume pedal so I can always keep it in the signal chain. Being space-conscious, I'd also like to see if I could "hot-rod" it by also providing an auto-wah (I keep wanting to call this an envelope filter) capability for that "Come and Get Your Love" vibe. Don't know how it would go over in church, but if I ever need it, I'll have it.
