Title: GM Arts Overdrive Pedal
Post by: Peter B on March 09, 2004, 08:56:59 PM
Hi All,

Just curious as to whether anyone has built the GM Arts Overdrive pedal from http://users.chariot.net.au/~gmarts/ ?

I knocked one up on breadboard at the weekend and was quite pleased with it's sound.  I'd like to get a bit more differentationbetween "soft" and "hard" clipping though so will experiment with different diodes/diode combos.

Anyone else had any experience, offer any comments?

Cheers,
Peter.

Hello.
I,ve built one about a year ago. I've also thought of changing the clipping diodes but never seem to come around to it.
Please post your findings.

I think the John Hollis Omni-Drive has both types of clipping in one unit. 8)
