Title: One way gate for a guitar signal???
Post by: Chris S on March 10, 2004, 04:37:15 AM
I'm in need of something that will act like a one way gate so that a guitar signal can travel say from A to B but not leak back from B to say C (with another signal going from B to C) does that make sense?

Thanks !!!

Make two buffers (the simplest would be Fet source follower or else a transistor emitter follower). Run the signal to both of them & then you have two outputs, that won't feed back any signal applied to them.
If you want gain, you can do the same thing wiht op amps or any booster circuit.
