Those pedals look horrible. I bet they sound horrible too. I'll take em off your hands if you pay for postage.
Just kidding! Great work. I bet they sound awesome, where are the sound clips? We need a good 70's wha wha infused soundtrack to go with our porn...
Is that run on 12V AC????
Looks very cool!
Aron

Yes, Sir!
Holy crap  That's one friggin pedal   How many wires are there in that thing...
not too much: the switches just control relays on the PCB...
I love the way the enclosure is flush against the tubes.
25mm holes for <22mm tubes: just enough to wiggle them around a little for replacing...
Schon, meine Nachbar ;)
:P Awesome!

B.T.W.: that Tube-Meister prototype
(see the subtitle "MM#1" in the lower left corner),
was sent as a birthday-present to Mike Mattews
as is, ie. with no protection-"grille", only some bubble-wrap in a carton from europe
to NYC without the tubes being broken...
(att. jimbob !)

Verhip, een Duitser die Nederlands spreekt ! ;)
(* no offense: of course "nederlandsch"...)

Oud Gouds, je vrouw heeft dus een lekker pittig stukje in huis. ;)
Je bent nog behoorlijk vaardig met de Nederlandse taal, mijn complimenten. Of onderhoud je nog contacten met mensen die nur 120 fahren ?
To all English speaking folks, you probably know his place of birth: Gouda is where some of the best cheese comes from. Some American couple I met through eBay couldn't stop talking about our export product. :D
ya`right: a nice young wife in the house, and a good aged cheese in the freeze...
Very nice pics!!! I hope to own one as soon as one become broken in shipping!! I love my newest EH Tube wiggler! Rocks! So how long before one of these land in my doorstep--broken tubes in all!!?? hehehhehe For my cost--u dont even wanna know that--seriously. 8) these are the pedals i dream about--the wife nudges to wake me up as i awake with drool...but happy druell..clearence center druell..
I`m afraid the "Tube-Meister" will never go into production by E-H
for too many "controls", which makes it too labour-intensive.
One day, I`ll handmake a couple, but what I learned from you: they`ll be shipped with the tubes not inserted, but in extra-box...

Hey Puretube, where are your getting your cases ? Are youmaking them yourself or getting them made for you ? How are you doing your labeling ?
Andrew
I got a "Abkantbank" and a "Schlagschere", a drillstand, and a set of screw-punch-bits (not sure of all these names in english & too lazy to look`em up...). In short: handmade by myself.
Fine-sanded alum., put in NaOH @ 50deg for 10min. in well-ventilated area...
Layouted on Atari, inkjet-printed on paper; copied on selfsticking transparent foil (local copy shop); applied wet onto the box, cut out holes, 2x polyurethane spray...

Great Stuff!!! Thanks for sharing that. :) I have a appreciation for metal work. There is one things my dirty work shop needs, a sheet metal bender. I've been looking at geting one for making chassis. Well that and a CNC machine but I'll wait alittle while before I get that. :) Maybe a high speed metal lathe too.
Andrew
thank you T.G. for giving me the word;
the "Abkantbank" I mentioned earlier (I somehow thought you might understand german...), is the blue "sheetmetalbender" you see on the left side, with the red handles...
actually, one of the reasons for trying to get into the professional biz, was the hope for 1 day being able to afford a CNC milling machine - but now it shows, it`ll take a very very long time to get to know the software for the drawing of the stuff I wanna do with it....
Hey Andrew:
what`s the proper name for the tool on the right, to cut the sheetmetal with:
is it "shear" or s.th. similar?
thanx, puretube.
Puretube, sorry for asking but - you've done designs / redesigns for EH, correct? (the tube zipper etc)? Just curious.
Your setup and pedals are mouthwatering. 8)
Mike
I'm sorry I missed your replies in the mess of messages.

It is a handy tool. I'm looking at getting a bigger one for one of my workshops that I could do an amp chassis in a few minutes not including the welding.

CAD software has always been tricky and not user friendly. It one of the reasons DIYers like the simple software programs that manufactures give away. Boy it would great to have a CNC. I better stop before I start drooling. ;)

Yes I would call that a metal "sheer". :)
As always I appreciate the time and your work.
Andrew
MikeB: yes, some newer E-H pedals are (based on) my designs
(in fact concerning the so-called "re-issues": only the names
are adopted, coz the type of effects resemble their vintage
"role-models"), and are being issued by E-H in licence:
The "HOT TUBES" used to be this one:
The "TUBE ZIPPER" was this:
The "WIGGLER" looked like this:
The "WORM" is a reduced-number-of-knobs version of this:
and the new "PULSAR" had a prototype-design like this:
the wiggler has to be my favorite so far!! but i love all my tube effects for diff reasons!
