Title: Pull down resistors
Post by: B9 Robot on March 14, 2004, 07:45:45 PM
Is it a good idea to use pull down resistors on a Fuzz Face clone that has true bypass? I know it would help eliminate the popping sound when switching it on and off, but will it mess with the tone in any way?

Thank you.

Unfortunatly it's almost impossible to touch a signal line without affecting the tone even slightly, but if you use a high value line 1-2 megs, the effect will be minimal to the point where it's just about non-existant. It sure beats a pop. :D

Take care,
