Title: Wah building question
Post by: MattAnonymous on March 14, 2004, 08:12:16 PM
I've tried many different wah schematics and can't seem to get one of them to work.  I'm using the RS transformer as the inductor and believe that this should work because I soldered it in place of the inductor in a vox and it wahed the same.  I'm using 2n3904 transistors (2). Ceramic and tantalum caps and one 4.7uf electrolytic.  And an audio taper pot as suggested by the geofex.com site.  I can't get any change in sound when I turn the dial.  Also, I hooked the pot up to the vox and it wahed.  What am I doing wrong I've quadruple checked the wiring and everything checks out.  Also, I am connecting the ground side of both phono jacks together separate from the ground and am connecting the neg battery to the common ground.  Sound, but no wah or even volume change.
