Hi All,

I have updated the schematic of the Ruby Tuby. This version now has the following additions:

- OPAMP (1/2 a TL072) in front of the tube
- A Volume control at the input of the LM386

I am getting very close to a good hybrid amp. I will play around with various caps and other stuff like that to see how I can change the sound a bit. I tried adding a very simple low pass filter (i.e. a pot + a cap) right before the volume control but, it basically lowered the output of the amp too much. I will investigate other types of tone controls.

I may have some updates for you soon. I'm right now busy zapping myself with other tube projects. I'll let you know soon.

no sweat, I really appreciate your help! If I can, I would like to remove the opamp that drives the tube. Keep me posted!
