I am trying to gather people that are interested and near the Chattanooga area to start up a club that meets once a month or so to build, modify, discuss, whatever....DIY footpedals. If anyone is interested or has any past experience, email me and maybe we can get this off the ground :)
WELL U KNOW I AM IN BUT I ENCOURAGE ALL CHATTANOOGIANS AND THOSE CLOSE ENOUGH TO MEET ONCE A MONTH TO DO SO..
Yes. This would be a great opportunity to learn AND teach. I hope to get adults AND children interested. This is gonna be awesome!!

Man you know it. For me to go to Nashville to play is 1hr1/2. So I do 3hrs. that way. Driving isn't really a biggy to my. I drove 12hrs. to W.Virgina in a day and was ready for more. It's just time and gas that concern me. Although if our schedules workout, we could car pull.
well i understand the thing being a little out of your reach, but i thought it would be a nice jester to see if you were interested..
hope it does work out it would be nice to meet both of ya in person.

Hey thanks Ansil. We might be able to do it. I know Tom builds alot of pedals for hi profile people, and I build pedals and play alot around Nashville. I'm sure if our schedules work out we can make a couple of meetings. I'll have to get with Tom. Maybe we can car pool. I don't know. It would make things easier on both of us I'm sure.
That would be cool. Ansil and I haven't gotten together or talked about it much because of our schedules but I figure one meeting a month ranging from 2-3 hours MAX depends on how many people we can get
It would be really neat to get some younger kids involved and teach them the fun of electronics and how to build stuff from scratch :)
Seriousely, anyone that's in the area, and you're remotely interested, drop by the amp repair forum guitar.andrewrichardson.us and throw a line. I'm sure we'll have a small newsletter and all for the ones that are interested but can't make meetings.
wow, i didn't know that many people lived in Tennessee! I thought it was only 2
Are there any other "clubs" out there...or people wanting to start one....specifically somewhere near new york.
Sounds like fun!
i live 3-4 hr's away , up in NE TN.
i'll see what i "can" do. we'll see..........
peace,
