Title: Just curious, anyone used this diode/tranny tester or others
Post by: MarkDonMel on March 18, 2004, 12:52:18 AM
...like it?

I was just nosing around the web and found this.  I am just curious if it is like any other dmm that won't account for leakage in the reading, or whatever it is.

Thanks, Matt.

I suppose it would be possible to build a transistor tester, where there was an audio oscillator & the transistor was actually amplifying AC in some way, and the output was used as an indicator of the actual gain, with leakage ignored. Maybe one of the EEs can think of a simple way?
