Hi all!
A buddy of mine has scanned and sent me this old soviet fx circuits!
Most interesting circuit - the one which uses mu-stage!
Wow! They knew mu-stage sounds cool with electric guitar! :shock:
:D
Circuits could be found here:

Hey Vas,

Sorry man )=
I'd like to translate but have no time to do it at all )=
:(
Thanks, very Interesting.
Is the muamp ckt *specifically* for guitar in that article? The muamp has been around for a long time, even the JFET version - i've seen it in 1960's stuff.
It going the be hard using an on-line transfation tool for those scanned images!
Thanks Vasiliok, most entertaining!
I wonder if our old friend U.S.Patoff provided any inspiration for these? :roll: :D
Interesting contrast between the "closedness" of the cold war era and the openess of the internet era.
Cool, thanks for sharing the schematics with us.
...the "moo"-stage, aka "SRPP" is based on a -of course- tube-circuit, first patented in 1940...
(and I`ve seen it in a 2-tube 3channel-preamp pedal with extremely high Z-in, recently...)
Thnaks guys!
I'm glad you like circuits!
Thank you for scanning an posting those!
Mike
Puretube:
which amp?
I'm sure you're very aware of the continuing popularity of SRPP stages in the high-end hifi world.
not amp, but pre-amp pedal;
saw it here:
http://www.diystompboxes.com/sboxforum/viewtopic.php?t=19755
(the "Tube-Meister" : not available on the market, yet, though...);
BTW.: Mr. Z. Vex knows why he calls for hi-imp. inputs!
I am aware: was lucky to be able to provide some information to this article:
