Post by: lightningfingers on March 22, 2004, 02:13:25 PM
out of sheer boredom im going to rebuild my electra distortion clone, but i dont have a 3.3M resistor
i do however have quite a few 1M resistoirs, will one of those work as a replacement?

Just chain 3 of those 1M resistors together and you're more than close enough for rock and roll. :D

Good luck on your build!

Take care,

Maybe not - but three of them will.  :)

Just series them up!

Hmmm... Isn't it originally 2.2Mohm? It probably is not too picky about the value of that resistor. I remember just sticking 1Mohm there once and it did not change the sound too much if at all.
