Read the Directions.
There's a load of good devubbing information right in the DMM's instruction manual.
Yes I know you probably know this, took me a 'minute' to figure that out.
This is a good read to go through, until you understand all the functions.
Do I detect a hint of sarcasim in that post? :P
Devubbing is fun :)
I should have a debugging page and all that of my own.
Not too good with web pages and such..
Actually I've never seen it written down that using the DMM manual is great thing to do, because it is a great thing that I did miss out on, and detect others miss out on also...I was so happy just being able to read resistances quickly and reliably etc. it's easy to forget [like I did...I think of these things when I have the meter out] things like trying the manual or remembering to use the other plug when I need to.
I saw a post, wanted to mention the meter manual [I find it hard to do, basically you just about have to cover material that can be construed as insulting a person: "read the manual..."...so as not to attach it to anyone elses thread I decided to create my own thread. I'm glad you saw something in it you can use. [There's your sarcasm]
I usually hit it with a hammer.
If that fails, I switch to a large mallet ;)
Ignorance and brute force will solve any problem. ;)
Most of the time I look at reading the instructions as "cheating", but every once in a while I do it and learn something that I wish I had known long ago. :D
Take care,
