Title: Trimmer Pot Question
Post by: MattAnonymous on March 26, 2004, 05:47:20 PM
Can trimmer pots be used as subs for regular pots?  If a trim pot is marked 103 is it 100k?

I don't know the answer to the first question, but a trimmer marked 103 would be 10k in value and not 100k.

As long as your not pusing the wattage, and in most cases with 9v powered effects your not, then you can replace pots with trimmers.

The marking 103 means the pot is 10K. 10 x 3 = 10K
