Title: expression
Post by: freeradical24 on March 27, 2004, 12:20:38 AM
i would like to substitute expression pedals for the time and feedback pots on one of my delays.i envision myself adding stereo 1/4" jacks in place of the pots.and buying expresion pedals with pots of the same values as the pots i removed.does that sound about right?it was an epiphany of only a few moments ago.

so the pedal i had planned to add expression to was a boss dd-3.when i opened it up to my surprise the pots did not look like everyday pots and i could not see any markings indicating resistance.anyone else fiddled with this pedal.i cant find any schematics (for free) and all t want to know is what the resistance is.

Is there any markings at all? Usually there is a code that will determine the R. It's also quite tricky to unsolder PCB mount pots. You'll want to be very careful.
