Title: CS3 mods?
Post by: SM on March 27, 2004, 07:23:33 AM
I just bought a Boss CS3. I’ve been searching the net for a schem and some tips for mods â€" but I can’t find much.
I would appreciate any input concerning this effect.

Well, this site sells infos about how to mod a few pedals, including the CS-3.

Things like how to add fullness, or richness to the sound with a few caps changes...

http://www.guitartone.net/

So depending on how much you really want to mod your CS-3, you could buy it...

Not a lot of mods for now, but as long as it has what you need,  it could be worth the price for you.

I have a CS-3, and until now, I never really felt the need to mod it.  It does a nice job as a compressor. But who knows, it could change some day. Our tastes are always changing...

Thank you for the info. I do know about that site. Paying for mods is however, not my idea of fun.
The compression could be more accentuated, Transparency improved and so on  :)
I think basically, I just want to fool around a bit and see if there are any improvements possible.

:D
