Hey all
Quick question what is meant by 'line-level'? Is it higher or lower than a guitar output? If line level is louder than a guitar it might explain the low output of my wireless, I aint giving it enough signal... :? Am I on the right track?
yeah line level (in the 1 to 1.5 volt region usually depending on who you ask) is usually a bit hotter than instrument level depending on the instrument (this is usually not true for most keyboards and active basses though). try an onboard booster, i can get my guitar up to line level with an amz mosfet booster. or it may be simpler, most decent wireless units have a gain control in the transmitter you can adjust or an output control on the reciever.
Yah thing is if I juice the gain in the transmitter it distorts, and the reciever is on full blast (well, max volume) anyway. OK, time to re-install a battery for that LPB-1 I put in my (passive) guitar. Thanks for the help!
