Post by: Milothicus on March 29, 2004, 09:27:53 AM
Which wires are for which parts? there are two longer wires off one end, and two shorter ones from the other end of the cylinder. one of the short leads has a mark by it. can anyone tell me which leads are for the LED and the LDR?

The long thin leads are for the LDR.  They have no particular orientation.  The short flat leads are for the LED.  The end with the dot is equivalent to what
you see on schematics as the end with the line at the tip of the triangle.  If you are feeding it sith a positive going signal, the dot end usually goes to ground.
