Title: ce 1 qs...
Post by: swt on March 29, 2004, 11:28:34 PM
Hi!!. I just want to know if it's possible to make a CE1 with a Mn 3007. After all the choruses i have and tried, this one still remains the better. Also, what version is better to build?. Thanks a lot!

In principle, one can build a CE-1 clone with an MN3007, but the differences between the MN3007 and the MN3002 are big enough to require changes to the rest of the circuit.  This is not just a matter of working out pin equivalencies.

Steve Daniels at Small Bear carries the appropriate BBD to make one *without* modifying the circuit.

The CE-2 uses the MN3007 and is one sweet sounding chorus.
