Title: Legal question? Can some of you post these on your website?
Post by: Bluesgeetar on March 30, 2004, 07:55:54 AM
I just bought a book off the web.  It is called "Mullard Circuits for Audio amplifiers"  first edition 1959.  In the table of contents it has:

1 Amplifying systems
2 Sources of Distortion in recorded sound
3 High Quality Amplification
4 General Notes on Construction and Assembly
5 twenty Watt amplifier
6 ten Watt amplifier
7 three Watt amplifier
8 seven-watt DC/AC Amplifier
9 two and three valve pre-amplifiers
10 four channel input-mixing pre-amplifier
11 three watt tape amplifier
12 tape pre-amplifier
13 seven-watt Stereophonic amplifier
14 Three-valve Stereophonic amplifier
15 Stereophonic pre-amplifier

Can I put this on the web?  If I can, anyone want to host it?

if the book was printed in 1959 then that means there is probably no present day US patent..............so it shouldnt be a problem

Yeah I saw that on Amazon already.  I called them to inquire about it.  All I can say for anyone wanting one from Amazon is GOOD LUCK!  Read the fine print on that at Mazon.  Special order and they may or may not can get it.  If you go to the used one section notice they both are $51?  Now they wouldn't ask that price if Mazon were giving them away at 16.95.  THey ask that price cause Mazon can't get them.

Am I the only person who can search the web? even on my dialup, it took less than .0003 nanoseconds to find this is a CURRENT REPRINT for God's sake!!!

And as for the guy wanting $51, that guy has his hand on his dick. I should know, because I was a secondhand book dealer for many years
