Title: Ibanez SM-9 Schematic?
Post by: phillip on April 08, 2004, 01:45:59 PM
There used to be a schematic of the Ibanez SM-9 at Joe Gagan's site (I think) but the link is now dead.  Does anyone have a copy of the SM-9 schem that they could email me?  My email address is:

Edit: email address removed

Thanks!

I've tried again. Last one bounced back at me.

Got it that time!  Thanks!  Wow that's quite a circuit!  Definitely has some Tube Screamer going on, but with a lot more stuff!

I remember seeing this one, something like 4 opamps and 5 seperate tone shaping sections, and that's not including the bypass switching or the input and output buffers.

I have heard that it's a very nice sounding pedal though.

That's one where I can't decide if it's worth tracing it out for a PCB or not. It's a great-sounding pedal, but there just so much there.
Maxon supposedly is going to reissue those as part of their '9' series.
