Keeley's got an 18v mod for the TS-9. Is it really worth the effort?

Another TS-9 mod - looks interesting with the true bypass switch, dual mode, and lead boost:

My guess is that the dual mode switch is for diode options, while the lead boost foot switch cuts out the larger cap value (.1uf/.047uf),  for the original midrange- heavy tone, so it cuts through better for solos. Kinda like a TS-9 DX with 2 foot switchable modes.
