I wasn't able to get to their schematics and layouts for the last two days, but they come up now.

I stand corrected. I only checked a few projects. When I clicked on ordering, I saw that some scumbag hacked the site. The scumbag left their name all over, like it was some big feat to hack an effects site.  Probably just graduated up from ripping off the local soda machine. The freak is probably just sitting on the porch gloating, playing banjo, and waiting for Burt Reynolds to float by in a canoe. I guess that's what happens when your parents meet at a family reunion

Yes, this is greatly disturbing. Like robbing a food bank. "Boy, I sure showed them!"

It still have problems with some text saying it was hacked by "Hardwater".

I lost all I had on my new site when my server went under an attack a few weeks ago. I'll have to redo everything because of that.

Even my email wasn't working.

So I know how it feels.

And since yesterday, I have another site where I upload some images that is not working... I am now wondering if it could be for the same reason.

It seems not all people build effects in their spare time, some have another hobby.  :?

Yeah, the guy managed to run a few UPDATE statements that played hell with the photoessays. Thanks to those who e-mailed us with a heads-up. I think FP isn't near his e-mail right now, but I'll have it cleaned up tonight.

Such is life on the big bad internet.

Do we know for sure this is a valid site?  Could this individual possibly be brain-dead enough to leave his address behind?  Probably, since so far very little evidence of EEG activity has been displayed.

I just noticed this morning about the hacking :(

The guy picked a good day to do the hacking, I spent most of the day in airplanes and airports coming back from my vacation...

The ordering page is screwed up, and I have a LOT of email to reply to... but if you want boards email me!!

Wasn't able to access the Phase45 schematic, was that a casualty of the hacking?

I was really bummed out when Moosapotamus' great site was hijacked by some *&^*&^ about a month and a half ago.  Charlie Barth is one of the last people who should have to deal with that kind of #$*!$%.  I wish that there was a way to go find these pukes who are messing with the education that our DIY friends so kindly provide to us FOR FREE and give them a massive wedgie using a front loader tractor.

That's one reason why I have my entire website backed up on two identical CDs - one at home and one at the office. If anything like that were ever to happen to me, I could re-upload everything and be back to normal in a day or two. I have way too much time invested in my website to allow some mad-at-the-world frickin' butthead idiot techno geek do that to me!

I didn't know that moosapotamus' site got hacked, or Gilles' site. That really sucks!

I hope all you victims of this indiscriminate hacking can get up and rolling again, and soon.  8)
