I did a long stint recording session with the band this weekend and decided at the end to do some "dinking around on my guitar" to show off some of my DIY projects.
So...for those of you who have been eagerly awaiting samples of the Haw-waH, the time is near.
The guy had a Mac computer, and the only CD I had to burn the samples on had already been written on by a windows application and the mac didn't like it....
so, I'm hoping to be able to post the file by the end of the week when the sound guy gets a chance to burn the CD for me.
I just made it all one recording, switching effects as I went. The guitar work is nothing to be amazed at, since my fingers were totally burned after 18 hours of recording, but I felt like I captured all the following effects well:
Haw-waH
Haw-waH built into Morley Bad Horsie with envelope mod.
Bad Horsie with envelope filter mod
Proximity wah filter using high pass, bandpass, and adding Haw-waH effect to this as well.
It intermittently uses my Vox V810 Valvetone (TS-9 equivalent circuit) with my custom mods...very sweet!
