Title: Where could I tweak an 808 circuit to get more volume?

Without screwing with the tone too much.
Title: Vol pot

Might try a larger value volume pot. This will shunt less signal to ground at the output.
The Mosfet Boost is what I put on stuff to get output up.
Does your TS have the output buffer?

Yes it's got the buffers, I built the Tonepad version.  I'm thinking now I may have made a mistake somewhere, full volume isn't as loud as when it's bypassed.  Is that normal for these?  It does sound nice though...

I just added a 22k resistor to one side of the pot and that did the trick.  What good is zero volume anyhow.   Mucho Thanks to Pete!

it should be able to go MUCH louder when on. You might try looking over the unit again for errors.

I'll give a look sometime today, thanks for the input.  Maybe I should just ditch that resister I added, I would like it to work correctly.

I put in a switch to add in a diode yesterday and I don't see where it was really worth the trouble.  All I got was a very slight change in tone and a boost in volume.

What do the pinV's look like?

I compared it to GGG's info when I first built it and everything was close enough to not cause any alarm.  I will probably check them again though later today.
I think it may be a bridged solder connection somewhere cause I'm working with a really blunt tip.  Those Radio shack tips don't last for nothing.
